Zoeva are one of my all time favourite brands for brushes. Their brushes are made from a mix of natural goat hair and synthetic hair therefor they are not a vegan company but are cruelty free. They do however sell vegan brushes too. They’re such good quality brushes for a fraction of the price of high end brushes.
These are my all time favourite Zoeva eye brushes. I’ve picked these as I honestly use them for every single look I do and I naturally gravitate towards these over any other brands. Brushes are pictured in the order I would use them.
142 Concealer Buffer: I suppose this technically isn’t an eye brush but I use this to blend eye primer over my lid. It works lovely at distributing the product evenly and not applying too much.
228 Luxe Crease: I then use this brush to apply a light coat of a colour which matches my skin tone to set the primer and then again to buff a transition shade into my crease.
221 Luxe Soft Crease: I often use this brush with no product on to buff out any harsh lines and to make sure all colours are blended out softly.
227 Luxe Soft Definer: This brush is perfect for getting right into the Crease. I use this to deepen the Crease and apply darker shades then go back in with my 221 to again buff out the colour for a smooth transition. It’s also a perfect dupe for the MAC 217.
231 Luxe Petit Crease: I use this to deepen the outer corner of my eye. It’s still tapered enough to blend the product out yet can pack it on to really darken the outer corner. If I’m doing a halo look I will also use this in the inner corner.
234 Luxe Smokey Shader: This brush is lovely for packing colour onto the mobile lid. Even with a halo eye it’s the perfect size just to use on the centre on the lid.
237 Detail Shader: When the smokey Shader is too big for what I want I use this brush to pack colour on in more specific areas.
230 Luxe Pencil: I love using this to smoke out the under eye. It’s not too big and not too small. As it’s tapered it blends out product easily but you can use the same brush to pack on another colour on top of the first and blend them nicely together to create depth.
223 Petit Eye Blender: I simply use this brush to apply my inner corner highlight. It’s the perfect brush to apply it everywhere I want with one dab.
226 Smudger: Again, I simply use this brush to apply highlight to my brow bone. Zoeva do have a brow bone highlight brush but I have not had the pleasure of trying it and this brush works lovely as it’s replacement for me.
I hope you have enjoyed this post. Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried any Zoeva brush and what your favourites are. Also, let me know what your favourite brand of brushes is!
